and I am the owner and founder of The Gemma Social. I am a local to Huntsville, Alabama and grew up in the North Alabama area. I married my high school sweet heart, Jeremy, in 2019 and together we have two rambunctious, fun, and silly boys, Levi and Ryan.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had the creative bug. In high school, I really embraced Art class as a extra curricular activity and by my senior year I was taking 3 different ones: Art, Painting, and Interior Design. But before finding my passion for social media and starting my own business, I worked in the global marketplace for creative goods - aka Etsy!

In 2020, I was a Decor Specialist at a Etsy based shop in Lafayette, Louisiana. That job changed my life because it really showed me what specific niche I loved working in. I have worked in a few women owned small businesses such as boutiques and home decor shops and always admired the strength and courage it takes to have to make that leap of faith in yourself and ultimately make your dreams a reality. I knew I wasn’t made out to own a storefront, but I most definitely enjoyed helping making those businesses flourish in whichever way I could!

In the very beginning of 2024, I worked as a creative studio assistant to a wedding industry professional locally in the Huntsville area and fell in love with the world of luxury weddings! I enjoyed assembling the orders because each one was different based of the bride and groom’s wedding atheistic and color palette - not one was ever the exact same! But overall, I really thrived in the social media management and content creation department! I learned that I could take my creative and logistic knowledge from working in small businesses and put everything I had towards creating a brand that helps other businesses who don’t have the time to market their brands to the fullest.

And then I thought since I’m already familiar with content creation and the behind-the-scenes of the wedding world, I could provide the same service for couples as being their personal paparazzi on their big day!

...and that’s how The Gemma Social came to life!

Now how did I come up with the name, you ask? Like I said before I am a ALL BOY mama over here and the one girl name I had in my back pocket to use for our second born was Gemma. And it’s still to this day is my favorite girl name!

When I’m not working I enjoy cooking or baking yummy treats for my family or snuggled up on the couch binging a good tv show or movie!

My favorite go-to drinks are either an ice cold sparkling Italian soda or a warm and cozy hot chocolate!
